This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") is part of the Vector Data Loader Terms of Service (the "Terms") between Bipath, LLC ("Bipath") and the Customer. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings in the Terms. The Customer is responsible for every User's compliance with this Policy. The examples below are illustrative, not exhaustive. Bipath decides, in its reasonable judgment, whether conduct breaches this Policy.

1. Prohibited Content

You may not use the Service to store, process, retrieve, transmit or generate content that:

  1. is unlawful, or that you do not have the right to process, including content that infringes or misappropriates any intellectual-property, privacy, publicity or confidentiality right;
  2. contains viruses, malware, ransomware, spyware or other malicious code, or files built to exploit parsers, document processors or other software;
  3. is designed to manipulate, hijack or subvert AI models or retrieval systems, including prompt-injection payloads, jailbreak instructions, hidden instructions or data-poisoning material. Nor may you use the Service to deliver such content into another person's RAG, search or chat system;
  4. sexually exploits or endangers children, or is otherwise child sexual abuse material;
  5. promotes terrorism or violent extremism, incites violence, or is used to harass, threaten, defame or intimidate any person;
  6. is protected health information or payment card data, in breach of Section 7.6 of the Terms; or
  7. breaches any sanctions or export-control law.

2. Prohibited Activities

You may not, and may not help or allow anyone to:

2.1 Free-credit farming and billing abuse

  • create or use more than one Organization, Account, email address, domain, payment method or identity to obtain Startup Credits, trials, promotions or other free benefits more than once;
  • obtain Credits by fraud, by stolen or unauthorized payment methods, or by exploiting a bug or metering error (you must report any such error you discover);
  • circumvent, tamper with or interfere with credit metering, balances, billing, usage limits or rate limits.

2.2 Abusive crawling and Source misuse

  • configure the website connector, or any other connector, to crawl or retrieve content you do not have the right to access or copy;
  • ignore or circumvent a website's robots.txt, terms of use, rate limits, paywalls, logins, CAPTCHAs, IP blocks or other access controls;
  • crawl at a volume or frequency that burdens, degrades or disrupts the target site or service;
  • use the Service to collect personal data about individuals from websites or Sources without a lawful basis;
  • connect a Source using credentials you are not authorized to use.

2.3 Reverse engineering and competition

  • reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or attempt to derive the source code, models, prompts, algorithms or non-public APIs of the Service, except where applicable law expressly permits it despite this restriction;
  • scrape, crawl or systematically extract data from the Service's own interface or APIs, except through the features and APIs Bipath provides for that purpose;
  • use the Service, or any information about it, to build, train or benchmark a competing product, or copy any of its features, functions, interfaces or designs;
  • publish benchmark or performance results about the Service without Bipath's prior written consent.

2.4 Security and integrity

  • probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service or breach its security or authentication measures, except under a written authorization from Bipath;
  • access or try to access another customer's Organization, data or Account;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service, its infrastructure, or other customers' use of it, including through denial-of-service attacks, flooding or excessive automated requests;
  • use the Service to attack, scan or harm any other system, network or person.

2.5 Other misuse

  • impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone;
  • use the Service in breach of any law or regulation, or of any Third-Party Provider's terms;
  • use the Service from outside the Supported Countries, or for or on behalf of a sanctioned person or region;
  • use the Service for personal, family or household purposes.

3. What Is Permitted

For the avoidance of doubt:

  • Agency, reseller and white-label use is permitted. You may use the Service to provide services to your own clients and may resell or white-label services built on it. You are responsible for your clients' compliance with this Policy and for their data and rights.
  • Sharing logins does not relieve the Customer of its responsibilities under Section 4.2 of the Terms. The Customer must secure credentials and ensure that anyone using them is authorized.

4. Enforcement

If Bipath reasonably believes you have breached this Policy, it may take the following measures, subject to Section 16 of the Terms, applicable law and any required notice or opportunity to respond:

  • remove, block or disable Customer Content, Sources or features;
  • throttle, suspend or limit any Account or Organization;
  • reverse, forfeit or claw back Credits obtained in breach of Section 2.1;
  • terminate an Account or Organization, with Credits and any refunds treated under Section 16 of the Terms;
  • report conduct to law enforcement, regulators, affected parties or Third-Party Providers;
  • recover reasonable, legally recoverable investigation and enforcement costs caused by your breach.

Bipath has no obligation to monitor use of the Service. If it does not act on a breach, that is not a waiver.

5. Reporting

Report suspected breaches, unlawful content or security vulnerabilities to abuse@vectordataloader.app. For a content report, identify the specific content or location, explain the alleged illegality, and provide contact details where lawful and appropriate. Do not send credentials or unnecessary sensitive information. You may request review of an enforcement decision at the same address. Bipath will provide notices, reasons and review mechanisms required by applicable law. Please do not test for vulnerabilities without written authorization.

6. Changes

Bipath may update this Policy under Section 22 of the Terms.
